Landfill Taxes

Unfortunately due to the Government implementation of the working time directive/fuel price increase and Landfill Tax increases, we regrettably find ourselves having to increase the price of our skip hire.

As of 1st April 2008, all skip prices will increase:

3yd, 6yd & 10yd will increase by 15%
20yd, 30yd & 40yd will increase by 22%

We can now also take fridges and freezers for an extra cost of £60.00 per unit and Car Tyres at £20.00 per tyre.


Weighsoft Handheld

a hand-held device that will enable us to communicate from Head-Office with our drivers out on the road.

Using GPRS technology, the handheld technology will enable our scheduling team to interact directly with drivers via a touch sensitive display – retrieving routing, order and customer details; adding additional job details and data; and electronically collecting customer signatures. All the potential problems with paper trails will be a thing of the past!
These handheld devices will improve Sheehan’s overall operational efficiency with many additional benefits including;

The Chancellor has announced increases on landfill tax. There was an increase in April of this year of £3.00 per tonne on landfill and a proposed tax increase of 32% from April 2008. Sheehans endeavour to keep our prices competitive, and will do so to incorporate these increases.
